The SAFETY TURTLE child alarm consists of a receiver base and one or more transmitter bracelets that are firmly attached to children's wrists. The turtle-shaped wristband immediately detects when a child is immersed in water and signals this to the base. A distinct, loud alarm signal is instantly emitted by the base to alert parents to the danger. 100% waterproof, the bracelets are made to withstand shocks and children's play. This innovative portable alarm will alert you as soon as a child or pet falls in or ventures into water. Each bracelet has a range of around 60m in open field and operates on its own frequency. How the Safety Turtle 2.0 alarm works
The bracelets are designed to be worn by children without any risk. The wristband is locked using a special key supplied with the alarm, so there is no risk of the wristband being accidentally or deliberately removed by a child. The bracelets are available in blue or green and match the base, so you can use your alarm without the risk of interference from your neighbours. The bracelets are fitted with a battery that lasts for around 4 years in everyday use. The base can be recharged using the included 220V mains charger. Your pets (cat or dog) can also be protected with the special collar. Please note that the components of this new version 2.0 of the Safety Turtle child alarm are not compatible with the older Safety Turtle v1 version (marketed before 2016) with a circular control unit, in particular the bracelets.
